The short version. We collect the information you give us (like your name, contact details, service address, and what you need fixed) plus basic website usage data if analytics are enabled, and we use it to respond to your request, schedule service, and improve this site. We do not sell your personal information. Public website forms are for service and contact requests only; please do not submit payment card data, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information. The full policy is below.
1. Who we are
This policy applies to Legendary Service Inc. (“Legendary Service,” “we,” “us”), a heating, cooling, and plumbing company based at 25741 N Hillview Ct, Mundelein, IL 60060, and to your use of legendaryservice.com (the “Site”). We serve homeowners across IL and may update this policy as described below.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide — your name, address, phone number, email, and the details you share when you request service, ask for a flat-rate quote, request a free second opinion, apply for a career opportunity, or call/email us. Phone calls may be recorded where permitted for quality and training.
- Usage & device information — pages visited, referring links, IP address, browser/device type, and similar analytics gathered automatically if analytics or tag-management scripts are enabled for the site.
- Communications — messages, chat or text content, and feedback you send us.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data through this public website, and we ask that you not send payment card numbers, bank information, government IDs, medical information, or passwords through website forms.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to requests; schedule and deliver service; prepare and present upfront, flat-rate quotes; review second-opinion requests; communicate with you about service, estimates, and appointments; maintain safety and records; improve the Site and our service; and comply with law. Any payments or financing applications are handled outside these public lead forms through separate third-party or business processes.
4. How we share it
We share information only with categories of service providers who help us run the business — for example, our customer-management/CRM and lead-routing platform, scheduling and communications tools, analytics or tag-management providers (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), AI Tools for the Trades for the optional interactive pricing tool, financing partners when you choose to pursue financing, and other vendors needed to respond to your request — each bound to use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety, and in connection with a business transfer.
The AI Tools for the Trades pricing tool is not loaded automatically. If you select “Load interactive pricing tool,” your browser connects to AI Tools for the Trades and may share standard connection and device information, such as your IP address and browser type, along with your interactions with that tool. The budgeting examples remain available without making that connection.
We do not sell your personal information for money. The use of third-party analytics and advertising cookies that support cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute “sharing” (and in some cases “selling”) under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). See Your Privacy Choices below for how to opt out of sale/sharing, including via Global Privacy Control (GPC).
5. Text messaging (SMS) consent
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, Legendary Service Inc. may send you service-related and, where you agree, promotional text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile opt-in and phone number are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
6. Cookies, analytics & advertising
This site may use necessary browser storage for site preferences and form functionality. Google Tag Manager may load before you make a choice under Google’s Advanced Consent Mode, but advertising and analytics storage remains denied globally at that stage. Google tags may send limited cookieless consent and measurement signals while storage is denied. Optional analytics storage, advertising storage, and Searchlight Photon activate only after you select Accept. Selecting Decline or using Global Privacy Control keeps that storage denied and keeps Searchlight Photon off. You can manage these choices through the cookie-consent banner, Your Privacy Choices, and your browser settings.
7. Payment card data & PCI
The public website forms on this Site are not designed to collect credit card or payment account information. Please do not submit card numbers or payment credentials through contact, quote, second-opinion, or career forms. Because these public lead forms do not process payment cards, PCI processing is not applicable to the public forms themselves. This is not a claim of PCI compliance for any separate payment system or in-person payment process.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale/share or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Consented analytics and advertising disclosures may constitute sharing or targeted advertising under some state laws; you can control them through the cookie banner and Your Privacy Choices. You may designate an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children’s privacy
Our Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information and restrict access to team members who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party links
Our Site may link to third-party sites (for example, financing partners or review platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
Categories of personal information we collect. Through this website, Legendary Service Inc. collects: identifiers and internet activity collected by analytics tools (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, device/browser information, and pages viewed via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager); and contact information you submit through our forms (such as name, email address, phone number, and service details).
“Selling” and “sharing.” We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of third-party analytics and advertising cookies that support cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute “sharing” (and in some cases “selling”) of personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA.
Your rights. California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120, §1798.121 — including limiting use of sensitive personal information), the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
How to opt out of sale/sharing. You can opt out in either of two ways: (1) use the consent choice presented on this website (or the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of every page, which brings you to this section), and decline non-essential cookies; or (2) enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — this website honors GPC automatically as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing, with no further action required.
